Doctor, he is Mr Thomas, Executive Director of Thomas and Co here in Jos. He is 56 years old. He suddenly developed the problem of forgetfulness 6 months ago which has gradually deteriorated. Now he cannot wear his clothes well any longer unless he is assisted. He wears them outside out or inside out or left side right. He has t be dressed up for work and in his work place his secretary who is here has had to take over the functions of the company in the last four months when he discovered that his boss was not in the right frame of mind. According to him he discovered that he had written a cheque for 10 million Naira which was to be used for purchasing a caterpillar the function for which he could not explain since the company does not go into construction but runs a simple importer and exporter outfit. The secretary also realized that even when he reminded his boss about appointments he either does not come or he simple waves then off as if they do not matter. The company has suffered great loss since this problems started. Initially it was thought that he was thinking of his mother whom he had just lost. But it became clear it was more than that.
At a point we thought it was his village people who were trying to do him juju. That was the reason we did not first bring him to the hospital. We have tried all sorts of native doctors who told us that it was his junior brother who was harming him with juju. Also one native doctor said it was the chief of the village that wanted to kill him. We have performed so many rituals and made several medicines for him to take, all to no avail. The matter was getting worse when somebody advised we should take him to hospital first and find out what was wrong before we do anything further. That is why we are here.

History shows the patient had suddenly fallen sick of fever and headache and then later was taken to the hospital. She suddenly developed this delirium which is now being managed in the hospital.
