Scapular region 

 

This is the region which surrounds the shoulder blade or scapula.  It includes the following

 

Artery: Anastomosis around the scapula consisting of branches of

circumflex scapular artery

SUBCLAVIAN: The following take part in the anastomosis from the third part of the subclavian artery.

bullet Suprascapular artery
bullet Deep branch of transverse cervical artery

AXILLARY: The following artery take part in the anastomosis from the axillary artery

bullet Subscapular artery and its branch circumflex scapular artery.

 

Vein: Corresponding veins of the scapular anastomosis

Muscles: Serratus anterior, latissimus dorsi, teres major, teres minor, trapezius, rhomboideus minor, rhomboideus major, deltoid, levator scapulae

Nerves:

Branches of suprascapular nerve

bullet

Axillary nerve which supplies the teres minor

Bones: Bones of the pectoral girdle which includes

bullet Upper part of humerus
bullet Clavicle
bullet Scapula

Joint: Shoulder joint complex
