Part of the face which is in the head region. It is bilateral and used for vision. It lies in the orbit made up of many bones of  the skull. It is surrounded by the accessory visual apparatus which includes

bullet Eyebrows
bullet Extraocular muscles
bullet Lacrimal apparatus
bullet Visual pathway

The eye is supplied by ophthalmic artery which is a branch of the internal carotid artery and the optic nerve. It is drained by the superior and inferior ophthalmic veins.
