LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE OF MAMMARY GLAND (Breast)

This is drained by the following nodes

Pectoral node of the axillary group

Apical axillary group

Infraclavicular nodes

Interpectoral nodes

Intercostal nodes

Parasternal nodes

They all drain through the apical group of axillary nodes, (excepting the intercostal nodes which drain directly into thoracic duct), which collect into efferents that enter the subclavian trunk. The left subclavian trunk enters the thoracic duct. That on the right enters the jugulosubclavian junction or the right lymph trunk.
