ANTERIOR GROUP OF AXILLARY LYMPH NODES

 

GROUP: Axillary nodes

LOCATION: 4-5 nodes on the outer border of pectoralis minor and close to the lateral thoracic vessels.

DIVISIONS:

DRAINAGE: They drain the upper part of the body wall above the umbilicus and the breast. Their efferent vessels pass to the apical and central axillary nodes from where they enter the subclavian trunk.
