SUPERIOR GLENOHUMERAL LIGAMENT

 

 

PROXIMAL ATTACHMENT: Superomedial margin of glenoid cavity and the labrum glenoidale.

 

DISTAL ATTACHMENT: Above the lesser tubercle of humerus.

 

FUNCTION: Prevents anterior displacement of the humerus in the glenohumeral joint.

 

JOINT: Glenohumeral joint.

Layer 4 Layer of superficial layer of muscles. Layer 5 Layer of intermediate layer of muscles. Layer 6 Layer of deep layer of muscles. Layer 7 Layer of layer of joints of pectoral region.
