MEDIAL INTERMUSCULAR SEPTUM OF ARM

 

 

PROXIMAL ATTACHMENT: Lower part of medial lip of intertubercular sulcus along eh medial supracondylar ridge.

 

DISTAL ATTACHMENT: Medial epicondyle where it blends with tendon of coracobrachialis. It gives attachment to triceps brachii posteriorly and to the brachialis anteriorly.

 

FUNCTION: Perforated by ulnar nerve and the posterior branch of the inferior ulnar collateral artery.
