LIGAMENTS OF COOPER

 

 

Ligaments which interconnect the skin with the deep fascia in the pectoral  region and which traverses the female breast and helps to keep it firm in the nullipara. They stretch in peud'orange cancer of the breast  leading to orange skin appearance of the skin of the breast. They become lax after lactation and breast feeding.
