CONOID LIGAMENT

 

 

PROXIMAL ATTACHMENT:

 

Conoid ligament -Root of coracoid process (apex).

 

DISTAL ATTACHMENT: Conoid tubercle at the subclavian groove at placed undersurface of clavicle (base).

 

FUNCTION: Prevents the clavicle from being detached from the scapula (acromion).

 

JOINT: Acromioclavicular joint.
