RADIAL RECURRENT ARTERY

 

 

 

ORIGIN: Radial artery 

 

COURSE/DISTRIBUTION: Arises from the radial artery below the elbow and passes between the superficial and deep branches of the radial nerve in order to ascend behind the brachioradialis. It anastomoses with the radial collateral artery which runs in front of the lateral intermuscular septum

 

BRANCHES: Muscular branches to supinator, brachialis and brachioradialis
